Red Rose Porcelain Tea Figurines!

I recently came across a lot of cool Red Rose Porcelain Tea Figurines at a sale.  They're adorable so I had to buy them! The research part of them has been so much fun to do! They come in various series and were all started by a lady wanting gifts for others.  Over the years the original molds have broken or torn up, so vintage and antique pieces can be worth some money! I think my favorite has to be the "Strongman" figurine! It's so darn cute!

It has been way too long since I last wrote for the blog! The end of the school semester kept me crazy busy, so I haven't had a lot of time to devote to antiques.  Now that summer is here I'm back at it!  I've just posted a lot of items on eBay at lower prices.  Inventory needs to be cleared for summer stock.  My job is now going to allow me to travel some this summer so I'll be "thrifting" and "antiquing" in many new places.

Wooden Hangers!

It has been way too long since I posted last! Things are very busy with school and work! Plus, I've been located some great deals on more vintage and antique items! My recent find that I'm most excited about are antique wooden hangers! There are pictures posted below. They're super cool! I wish I had an idea on how to use them.

Inventory Cleanout!

Spring is in the air!

Spring is in the air! With beautiful weather outside I'm now motivated to get moving on eBay postings! Today I just posted some cool new items, mostly handkerchiefs and pearls again! It's such fun posting these items and to hear the stories of what folks do with the items they buy. If you buy something from my store, feel free to contact me with your ideas of how to use the item! My favorite item I uploaded today was the vintage Michigan hankie! So cool to see this piece underneath everything else. I'm hoping it'll bring back some great memories for someone out there!

Handkerchief Crafting!

My mother taught me a lot about the thrifting world! Recently, when she was out and about she got a bargain on 11x14 picture frames. They've been stored in a box for a few weeks now because we couldn't decide what to do with them. Then one rainy afternoon it hit me! Let's combine the two and make some wonderful wall art. Handkerchiefs once came with gorgeous designs on them and I want to preserve those in my home. So here in the pictures are my new additions to my dining room! I can't wait to see what else I can do with these!
